Job Position:Data Entry Operator
Job Responsibility:
1)Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
2)Create documents and spreadsheets with large numbers of data points and details without mistakes.
3)Update existing data.
4)Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
5)Sort, upload, and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.
6)Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
7)Assist in office organization procedures.
8)Utilize office appliances such as photocopier, printers, etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation, etc.
9)Prepare reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems and records so they remain updated and easily accessible.
Requirements:
1)High school degree or equivalent.
2)Proven experience as a data entry clerk or other clerical position.
3)Working knowledge of office devices and processes.
4)Basic understanding of databases.
5)Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6)Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
