Accountant Jobs in Saudi Arabia

Job Positions & Details:

1. Payable Accountant

Responsibility:

  • Review Invoices for appropriate documentation prior to booking & payment in the ERP system.
  • Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry.
  • Clarity any questionable invoice items, prices, or receiving details for financial documentation, auditing, and tax purposes.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors. —Verifying employee Petty cash expense reports and preparing expense vouchers.
  • Verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records.
  • Maintain accurate records of outstanding payables and advances. eAssist chief accountant/accounting director in ad hoc reporting.
  • Regular periodic supplier and employee petty cash reconciliations.
  • Prepare month-end and year-end financial provisions and accruals.
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliation for those accounts under GL’s ownership.
  • Adhering to accounting standards and regulations.
  • General understanding of accounting principles.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience gained from working in an FMCG company.
  • Hands-on experience in invoice accounting & journal entries.
  • Detail-oriented and adhering to tight deadlines.
  • The ability to accommodate flexible working hours is an advantage.
  • Team player, good attitude, initiative, and commitment.
  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including pivot tables & complex formulas.
  • Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 will be an advantage.

2. Payroll Specialist

Responsibility:

  • Gather information on hours worked for each employee during the payroll cycle.
  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. with the assistance of the Mena tech system.
  • Keep track and update hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, etc.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.
  • Prepare reports for upper management, finance department, etc.
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll audits.
  • Regular periodic reconciliation of employee loans, EOS provisions.
  • GOSI payable, annual vacation provision, and annual vacation tickets.
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliation for those accounts under GL’s ownership.
  • Assist chief accountant/accounting director in ad hoc reporting.
  • Prepare month-end and year-end financial provisions and accruals.
  • Adhering to accounting standards and regulations.
  • General understanding of accounting principles.

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience gained from working in an FMCG company.
  • Hands-on experience in monthly payroll processing.
  • Detail-oriented and adhering to tight deadlines.
  • The ability to accommodate flexible working hours is an advantage.
  • Team player, good attitude, initiative, and commitment.
  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including pivot tables & complex formulas.
  • Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 and the Mena tech system will be an advantage.

3. GL Accountant

Responsibility:

  • Preparing and managing general ledger entries.
  • Reviews the journal entries from Sub Ledger.
  • Assist chief accountant/accounting director in ad hoc reporting.
  • SL Vs GL reconciliations.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closes.
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliation for those accounts under GL’s ownership.
  • Adhering to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Staying updated with the best practices in accounting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of IFRS standards.
  • Bank Reconciliation and related accounting.
  • General understanding of accounting principles. Lease accounting under IFRS-16.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience gained from working in an FMCG company.
  • Hands-on experience in accounting & journal entries.
  • Detail-oriented and adhering to tight deadlines.
  • The ability to accommodate flexible working hours is an advantage.
  • Team player, good attitude, initiative, and commitment.
  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including pivot tables. Macros & complex formulas.
  • Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 will be an advantage.
